FLOODING!!!!!!!11 Monday, June 25, 2007 well hi y'all. it's a bit crazy here. here's my office from the bbc website - can you see me waving? ;)  here are my photos - it all happened so quick! Also it's been raining since this happened early afternoon so I can't imagine how bad it will be now. There's definitely no phones/power/internet to the mill as our server's down.     i had a bit of an adventure getting out... all the other creative stream guys (including David Sisson who's just started - what a day to start on! and some clients) managed to get out and drive through the flooded roads just in time. i locked up because i was on foot. i was at the back of the building not 3 minutes after they'd gone and realised i couldn't walk it. i managed to hitch a lift with someone through the flood. it was right in the middle of a flooded road that his, and everyone else's, cars stopped because the water was too high! i pushed his car for a bit but couldn't do much so left him (poor bloke) and waded to higher ground - it was up to my knees! i can't begin to imagine how high it is now as it's meant to rain until late tonight... GULP! posted by Ant | 5:21 PM | MUCHO PHOTOS Wednesday, June 20, 2007 it's been a while since i posted anything. so i thought i'd show you all a bunch of recent photos. after all, as you can see below, it's been pretty eventful recently! make sure you click on a photo to see the full size version. it's been a busy few days... here are photos from Caroline's parent's which was lovely         on the way home, we went and met our brand new neice/cousin, Erin! we love her lots - and her mum and dad (cheeky though they are).          on monday i went kite flying with my drinking buddies. as you can see, we had a wicked time!

Buff Ermine Tuesday, June 05, 2007 This is my favourite moth so far - I love it. Got it in my moth trap this morning. Ben was very excited too! They move fast as well so managed to snap this before it flew away :)

Culture Junkie Friday, June 01, 2007 the last dew days i've been feeling really rubbish and tired - not coping very well. during these few days, i avoided caffine and alcohol. last night i drank wine and today i've been drinking coffee again and i feel MUCH BETTER!!! i feel a bit fed up that these cultural 'pleasures' (that are both poisons of sorts) make me feel normal as i think i should feel normal without them, darn it! oh well. also, i've been getting into facebook - just a little bit. it's quite good fun but also kinda pointless at the same time. if you're on facebook then look me up! i've set up a group on there called 'british moths' where i'm posting photos of moths i've caught in our new moth trap (a box with a light on top) - it's pretty good fun and something to do with the kids over the holidays. it's been really naff weather recently so we've not caught much yet. here are some photos:
