DEATH Monday, January 15, 2007 well, my fish (below) died. well one did - rather nastily with milky white fungal strands (it's a bacteria but looks like fungus) growing all over it. the other's actually not dead but is currently in a bucket dying. i've only had the tank for 2 weeks so i'm pretty disappointed - they were very good looking fish. i have, however got some more. i cleaned out the tank and am not putting any plants in there for now just in case that aggravated the problem. i hope it's not the water. the new fish will hopefully be hardier. the guy in the new shop reckoned that the fish died because they were ill when i bought them. he said, "did you buy them from 'pets at home'?", to which the answer was "yes". he then said, "that's why". learn from my mistakes peeps. We had a fantastic Christmas! We are, however, very tired! Instead of going to visit our families, we decided to stay in Sheffield and invite people up. This was because Alex is so little. I think we've made the shift into Christmas hosts now anyway - mainly because we've got mucho bambino but also because we have the biggest house! We had a lovely time and got lots of great gifts (we also got to give some great gifts away!).
