Sunday, April 17, 2005 thanks to all you kiddiewinkles who came to ben's birthday party yesterday - we had loads of fun! we did lots of exciting things - pass the parcel, a "james and ant™" puppet show, find the hidden chocolates and of course, lots of yummy birthday food including a digger cake (made by dad)! fun was had by all. and thanks for all the prezzies :) UPDATE!!! the james and ant™ puppet show is available to download if you click this link (10MB wmv file)

Wednesday, April 13, 2005 james is like a can of coke. you shake him up too much and he explodes (with sick) posted by Ant | 7:28 PM | Monday, April 11, 2005 after many many more visually entertaing or brief posts, i'm going for a more informative textual one. i'm here at this early morning daily event (i don't get weekends off either) of looking after young benjamin clifford. but now, as we watch a little milkshake (channel 5), i can browse the net on my new laptop! it's so fantastic to have this extra flexibility - now i don't have to leave the family if i need to work or if i need to browse the net or check my mail. i feel spoilt. we've had the craziest busiest weekend and i feel truly knackered. i was trying to think about what we've done but it feels like about 20 different things! it's all a balance of keeping ben entertained, getting quality family time and achieving various weekend tasks which seems like a lot to juggle. one thing that happened that was a bit of a shocker was cathers' crazy weekend (which we were involved in). the number of terrible things that keep happening to her are enough to drive anyone insane. it's a good job that she's keeping it together so well. i'm sure she's gonna post all about it on her blog so it'll leave it up to her. if you want to get an idea of what's been going on then i suggest you read a series of unfortunate events by lemony snicket ;) right - i'm gonna bolt. it's now time to get ben together and get him to nursery. catch ya later dr. brown. posted by Ant | 6:51 AM | Monday, April 04, 2005 my new baby's arriving tomorrow. please pray that the delivery is safe and painless and that, as she is born into my world, that we bond together like parent and child. amen.
