Monday, May 31, 2004 we're getting so much spam (grrrrr) at our fishpie.net addresses that i'm closing it for a time. please email me at either ant [at] dfour.co.uk or ant [at] lofter.tv addresses and caroline at caroline [at] cliffordclan.co.uk posted by Ant | 6:19 PM | Sunday, May 30, 2004 hey y'all - has anyone EVER had a whole chocolate kit kat before? ie. no wafer inside, just yummy choc! caroline and i were just talking and my uncle jeremy had one when he was little and so did someone at caroline's junior school. it's funny that she brought it up coz i was actually thinking about it yesterday! random :) ps. praying mantis song's hit a snag - the main vocal part is sounding 'thin' so i need to research up on decent vocal mics - does anyone have one i can borrow? posted by Ant | 1:16 PM | Monday, May 24, 2004 the gig was cool. but there was some stuff i figured: • the punk rock stuff i'm playing nowadays is HAAAARRRDDDD!!! so so SO much harder than indie music. i really can't underline this enough people. • when it's just me and my guitar up there on stage, i shouldn't play electric. it was just too much. it felt like pressure up there to tone things down constantly! when james got up there with me to play 'i won't be getting anything for christmas' it just felt so right compared with the rest of the set! over this last few weeks, james and i have been recording an old song, 'praying mantis' which is nearly finished. i'll be putting the finishing touches to it today hopefully! catch yas l8rz posted by Ant | 7:07 AM | Monday, May 17, 2004 i just got slated for not posting. i feel like abigail or jen!!! anyway, i may as well tell you guys about LOFTER. it's quite exciting actually - i can't believe i never saw it! i was seeking God on the whole band thing and what's been figured is that i'm just going to go for it myself and IF the guys in the band CAN make stuff then we'll do it together, but if they CAN'T then it doesn't matter!!! this has been the thing holding me back - organising 3 other people who have far more interesting and more important things to do with their lives. motivating only myself will make things so much easier. *phew* now that i've got a gig this thursday where i'll be promoting the LOFTER material (deep end, hillsborough) we'll see what God does with it all!
