hey everyone - you're invited to Ben's 2nd birthday drop-in this saturday. details below...

please bear in mind that Ben has chicken pox so pregnant women SHOULDN'T COME!!! (parents who want to avoid their children getting it shouldn't come either - but remember they have to get it at some point because it's much nastier to get it as an adult!)

BEN'S GOT CHICKEN POX!!! should be an interesting few days although it really doesn't look that bad at all - only a few spots at this stage. glad to get it over at his early age too.

mr. andrew jones stayed round last night - he's the tall skinny kiwi of cyber-vicar fame. it was really interesting to talk to him about web stuff. mainly because i use the internet in 2 ways: entertainment and work (work as a means to an end more than a major passion). in talking to andrew i saw that it was a lifestyle for him. fascinating! kind of challenging actually - i mean, if it's a lifestyle, surely my clients would pick that up and i'd be in more demand? maybe :)

anyway - check out some sites i've designed recently...

the meatrix has you...

saw this off moogaloo. caroline and i don't eat that much meat so we've decided to only eat non-mass farmed meat. the thing that really puts me off is the antibiotic feed animals are given when only one gets an infection. that scares me seeing as it takes a LOT for a doctor to prescribe antibiotics if we're ill but they hand it out to animals. that breeds superbugs and i don't like it that that gets passed down in the meat when we eat it. we're now gonna shop at 'real meat' who are based at the top of ecclesal road south (even though it costs more than asda) coz i want to live longer! although i'm not gonna get obsessive about it, ie. restaurants and takeaways :)

not convinced? if your excuse is that it costs more then it isn't a good one - why not eat less meat and only buy natural? make sure you spend the same in a month.

it'll be toxic-free veg next!
