Monday, March 29, 2004 saw the passion last thursday. it's was pretty cool as well. i really felt like it was a poetic/creative interpretation (of mel gibson) as well as a gritty drama. brought some stuff home although i'd imagined a lot of it when thinking about what jesus did for us over my life. caroline was really moved by the mother/son relationship - i agree, it was really well done. all the talk about it being really gross is all hype - yes, it was gruesome in places but i didn't find it anywhere near offensive - i've seen much much worse violence/gore in other 18 cert films - for example i HATE zombie horror flicks and plan not to watch any. posted by Ant | 1:40 PM | Thursday, March 18, 2004  <--- who's crotch is it then? come on - guess people!!!

Monday, March 15, 2004 after all that i'm posting twice in one day! i'm sooooooo tired! it's late now and today i did a 10 hour work day which what exhausting - funny thing was that i just suddenly ran out of 'creative juice' and couldn't do any more at the end - phew - got LOADS done :) also, just had the LOFTER>> practise - it was really cool actually, even though we had to be really quiet coz the noise spread round the WHOLE HOUSE! we were a bit rusty but i can see a gig in the nearish future... end june/early july it'll be i reckon - there's a lot we have to wait for before we can do our gig, like exams and kitchens?!! top brownie points to abigail for coming down and playing the bass coz she really didn't have to and was feeling rough. mohican's coming off... anyway, today needed a post coz i've got a mohican for the day (albeit a rather droopy one). seems like a good thing, especially as 1) it gets me attention and 2) i've got my first band practise in my cellar tonight! not sure how long the practise will last seeing as it may be way too noisy but the haircut will expire some time later tonight - it's just not me... you've got to be really fussy and spend lots of time on your hair to have one of these and i really can't be bothered! fancy that, you have to be ridiculously responsible to keep a mohican, just to shock people into thinking you're not responsible!!! how silly. posted by Ant | 3:48 PM | Monday, March 01, 2004 this is fantasitc... a blog for downing street! all decisions and important daily things publically available - amazing! that's the kind of leadership i like - all on the table :) downing street says... posted by Ant | 6:25 PM | |
